Terms and Conditions

Last updated 8 September 2026

These terms cover your use of Fiscari at fiscari.ai and fiscari.glasscubes.com. Fiscari is operated by Glasscubes Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 08630188 (“we”, “us”). By using Fiscari you accept these terms.

1. What Fiscari is

Fiscari is a research tool. It searches UK tax sources — HMRC manuals, legislation, VAT notices, official guidance and tax tribunal and court decisions — and returns an answer with citations to those sources.

2. It is not advice

Fiscari does not give tax, legal, accounting or financial advice, and no client or advisory relationship arises from using it. Answers are a starting point for your own research. The citations are the substance: follow them, read the source, and reach your own conclusion.

You remain professionally responsible for any advice you give and any position you take. Do not rely on a Fiscari answer without checking the cited authority.

3. Accuracy

Fiscari is designed to ground answers in authoritative sources and to decline to answer where it cannot identify supporting authority. Even so, we do not warrant that answers are complete, current or correct. Tax law changes, sources are updated, and automated systems make mistakes. Always verify against the cited source before acting.

4. Access and accounts

Access is currently by invitation. Invitation links carry a campaign code that grants access; codes are limited in number and use, and we may withdraw or expire them at any time.

Accounts are for named individuals. You sign in with a single-use link sent to your email address, so whoever can read that mailbox can reach your account: keep it secure, don't forward sign-in links, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

5. Free access

Free access gives 15 cited answers each week, of which 5 are deep answers, resetting every Monday. It requires no payment details. We may change these allowances, and we may withdraw free access, with reasonable notice where practical.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Fiscari to provide a substantially similar service to third parties, or resell access to it;
  • submit queries automatically, in bulk, or by any means other than the interface we provide;
  • scrape, copy or systematically extract the answers, citations or underlying corpus;
  • attempt to circumvent access controls, usage limits or campaign codes;
  • submit anything unlawful, or use Fiscari to do anything unlawful;
  • submit personal data about a third party where you do not need to — see clause 7.

We may suspend or end access that breaches these terms, or that threatens the security or availability of the service.

7. What you submit

You do not need to identify a client to ask a technical question, and we would rather you didn't. Ask about the facts and the law, not the name on the file. If you include personal data about someone else, you are responsible for ensuring that you have a lawful basis to provide it to us.

You keep ownership of the questions you submit. You grant us a licence to process them in order to operate, secure and improve the service. How we handle them is set out in our Privacy Policy.

8. Our rights

Fiscari, its software, branding and the way it assembles and presents answers belong to us or our licensors. Nothing here transfers any of that to you. The underlying legislation, HMRC material and court decisions are Crown copyright or otherwise owned by their publishers, and are used under the terms on which they are published.

9. Availability

We give no uptime guarantee, particularly with free access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the service, and we carry out maintenance that may make it briefly unavailable.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, or any indirect or consequential loss, and we are not liable for any decision you take or advice you give in reliance on a Fiscari answer.

Our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or £100.

The limitations in this clause reflect that Fiscari is provided free of charge as a research tool and is not intended to replace professional judgement or independent verification of the cited authority.

11. Ending access

You can stop using Fiscari at any time and ask us to close your account. We may end or suspend your access if you breach these terms, or if we discontinue the service.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and where a change materially affects you we will tell you. Continuing to use Fiscari after a change means you accept it.

13. Law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
